I progressed with my career, moving from a front end desk agent to an assistant front office manager, where I stayed until the hotel unfortunately closed its doors in 2010. Following the Palisades, I held various front end office direction positions with Declension Hotels and Delta Hotels in Vancouver, Nanaimo, and Whistler. In 2013, I was presented with an opportunity to bring together Booking.com as an account manager, where I am presently working.

Taking courses related to hospitality management and tourism will really assist in developing your career. Once in a workplace setting, continued didactics is key.
